Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all on this special occasion as we inaugurate the Research Center at Jadara University, marking a significant step towards enhancing scientific research and innovation at our esteemed university.  Today, we gather to reaffirm our commitment to elevating the standard of scientific research at the university and directing our efforts towards achieving national research priorities. Through the Research Center, we are dedicated to fostering collaboration and networking with distinguished researchers from both within and outside Jordan, to exchange knowledge, expertise, and achieve innovation in various scientific fields.

We believe that earnest and directed scientific research is the cornerstone for achieving sustainable development. Therefore, the Research Center at Jadara University aims to promote innovation and develop scientific solutions to contribute to sustainable development in our country.

We invite all researchers, scientists, and students to join our collective efforts, and we look forward to everyone's participation in building a better future for the university and our country.

Welcome to Jadara Research Centre

Believing in the pivotal role played by scientific research in advancing progress in all scientific and societal fields, I decided as Chairman of the Higher Committee for Scientific Research at Jadara University, and with the absolute support of university officials, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors / Director General, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, and the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Habis Al-Zaboun, to establish a comprehensive research center for all disciplines at the university.

This center aims to support and encourage research mobility among its employees, whether by supporting national priority research initiatives, which contribute to the development of important fields in Jordan, especially the northern region, or by providing facilities, services and a creative research environment through the center.

To this end, the Center plans to collaborate with distinguished researchers from around the world, faculty and graduate students at Jadara University.

Among the most important areas of focus of the center are the following:

• Renewable Energy
• Biotechnology
• Artificial Intelligence

• Cybersecurity
• Sustainability
• Physical and Mental Health

• Medical and Pharmaceutical Services
• Agriculture
• Teaching and Learning
• Environmental sustainability (Dr. Rabah Alwidyan)

The center will also work to spread awareness of the importance of scientific research in the community and encourage young people to join research programs. The center will contribute to conducting and publishing research on different national bodies according to national priorities based on official requests submitted by those bodies.

In light of this, the approval of the Council of Deans was issued in its session No. (1) held on 4/10/2023 on Resolution No. (8), and the approval of the Board of Trustees at Jadara University in the tenth session held on 24/10/2023 on Resolution No. (74) approving the establishment of the Jadara Research Center, as we all seek through this center to become the leading house of expertise in the field of national research centers at the local, Arab and regional levels.

Emphasizing its commitment to excellence and quality, the Center will work to apply the highest international standards in all areas of its work. The center will also be keen to build partnerships with academic, research and industrial institutions in Jordan and around the world.
